Buy A Mini Trampoline
I’ve tested over 20 rebounders through the years and narrowed it down to my two favourites - one budget-friendly and one premium. I’ve done all the trial and error so you don’t have to, and my goal is to make it simple for you to find a rebounder you’ll love.
My 2 Favourite Rebounders
If you’re new to rebounding and want to give it a try without breaking the bank, I recommend starting with a BCAN rebounder. It’s a great entry-level option - I actually started with an entry-level one myself and used it for two years before upgrading.
If you already know you love rebounding (or you’re ready for an upgrade), go for a JumpSport. These rebounders are beautifully made, built to last, and perfect if you’re looking for the highest-quality bounce or need extra joint support.

FAQs About BCAN
-
BCAN rebounders range from 40” to 51”. If you’re short on space, the 40” is a great fit, though it has a firmer bounce. For a softer bounce, go with the 48” circular or the 51” octagonal. If you’re lighter in weight, I recommend the 48”, as the 40” might feel too firm.
-
BCAN rebounders come in two shapes: circular and octagonal. The main difference is that the circular offers a balanced bounce across the mat, while the octagonal may have slightly firmer edges. For me, this isn’t a huge difference, so it really comes down to which one you like the look of better.

I’d recommend a safety bar if feeling unstable makes you nervous—it really gives peace of mind to have something to hold onto. But if balance isn’t an issue, I wouldn’t suggest getting one, since it does take up extra space. You can also remove the safety bar easily, so if you’re just starting out, you could use it at first and then take it off later.
-
BCAN offers two safety bar options: the T-bar and the U-shape bar. The T-bar has a minimalist design. It’s also lighter and simple to remove if you want an open setup. The U-shape bar spans the entire front of the rebounder, providing a secure grip and extra stability for leaning or support. It can get in the way for moves like high knees and front-and-back jumps.

You can get the foldable model - it doesn’t affect the quality of the jump. Personally, I think folding it every time you want to use it is unrealistic, since you have to unscrew the legs each time. I usually just put it on its side and move it close to a wall. That said, it’s nice to have the option to fold it if you need to.
-
I highly recommend bungees. They make the jump much quieter and smoother, whereas springs tend to be noisy, firmer, and very stiff near the edge of the rebounder. I’m team bungees all the way.

FAQs About JumpSport
-
JumpSport offers 39" and 44" models. The 39" is more compact and versatile, while the 44" provides more space and is better suited for individuals over 6 feet tall or those seeking a little extra room for lateral movements. Both sizes are 12.5" off the ground.
-
The Essential series is designed for casual use, while the Premium and PRO series offer enhanced durability and higher weight capacities. The PRO series, for instance, supports up to 300 lbs and features adjustable EnduroLast™ elastic cords for customizable bounce firmness. I personally only use the 39” pro and the 44“ pro.
-
Yes, certain models like the Premium 39" and PRO series have folding frames, which makes storage easier. However, folding and unfolding can take time since you need to unscrew the legs each time - but it still folds much more seamlessly than a BCAN model.
-
Both are great options - it just depends on what you value most.
Skirt-Style Mat: Features a sleek, minimalist design that lays flat over the bungees. It gives you a larger, uninterrupted jumping surface and is generally quieter. I personally love the clean look and simplicity of this style.
Padded Petal Mat: Consists of overlapping padded petals that add extra cushioning over the cords. It can be slightly noisier due to friction between petals but provides more comfort, especially if you plan to do hand-supported moves or exercises where you might come in contact with the mat.
-
JumpSport has so many options that it can feel overwhelming. Personally, I’d go with the 39” PRO and pick a fun colour - it really makes you love your rebounder more, haha. If cost weren’t an issue, I’d consider the 44” PRO for the extra space, but if I were on a budget, I’d happily stick with the 39”. I’d choose the skirt-style mat and skip the foldable option.
